SUSTAINABLE
GLOBAL GARDENS
AIMS
Sustainable Global Gardens’ aim is to make a contribution to Millennium Development Goal No 1, the eradication of extreme global poverty and hunger. Thus, we work
-
in those communities where income is typically less than $2/day
-
generally in rural areas where SGG’s field experience can have greatest impact in terms of income-generation and improved quality of life
-
in those countries where SGG supporters have previous development work experience. These countries include Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. However, we are now in a position to accept and implement projects in similar states not mentioned here.
SGG wishes to improve the future prospects of kids like these.
To do this we must work with their guardians’ community groups, such as Upendo-Buloma Women’s Group who are located near Funyula in Busia County, Kenya.
